This is a proper impeachment resolution for offenses against the Constitutional order, rather than pretending that impeachment has to be limited to more-minor offenses against the criminal code.

These are firing offenses, I'm sorry.
It also does the very NYT thing where the conservative in the story is an anti-abortion operative, which somehow doesn’t bear mentioning.

there are so many impeachable offenses that you now need two wheelbarrows full of impeachable offenses to purchase a simple loaf of bread

Egregious abuses of presidential power are impeachable offenses.
Trump’s direction to DOJ to investigate Chris Krebs and Miles Taylor because he doesn’t like what they said is an unprecedented abuse of power by a President of the United States.

I call on all Congressional Republicans to condemn this egregious weaponization of the government.

This is why I wrote my pinned report, which draws from my time as a criminal defense attorney.

This jackass says he’s going to define “get violent” for the people in his county...

...but the *first six offenses he names* are non-violent offenses.

They are changing definitions to justify fascism.

And “shocking abuses of power” are what, folks?

Say it with me:

“Impeachable offenses”
In a blistering ruling, a federal judge blocks a new executive order from President Trump punishing a prominent law firm that successfully sued Fox News for promoting false claims of election fraud.

“The framers of our Constitution would see this as a shocking abuse of power,” the judge says.
Federal judge calls Trump's order targeting prominent law firm a 'shocking abuse of power'
Trump, three months into his term, has moved swiftly to use the powers of the presidency in unprecedented ways to punish, weaken and silence his enemies, experts say.

If you don't impeach a president for impeachable offenses, then they aren't impeachable offenses anymore.

The point of impeaching the president is it is every member of Congress' duty to do so according to their oaths of office.
What would the point be of another Trump impeachment when he’s a lame duck and Rs won’t convict him?

Dems need an answer for the remnant of resistance people who are demanding impeachment but far more important for them to use normal Oversight powers effectively.
Schumer on CNN stops short of saying impeaching Trump would be a priority for Dems if they retake Congress
