Got the decals on the @officialairfix Vintage Classics 1/72 Hawker P.1125 prototype. I have an idea for a little in-hover stand for it.

After inspiration from some piece of art I randomly found while searching for something else, this "what-if" scheme on this @officialairfix 1/48 P-40B is almost finished.

When my current multiple aircraft projects are finished, I made a promise to do this @officialairfix 1/48 Bristol Bulldog Mk.II to someone who I am most fortunate that they tolerate my planes, props, and ships, so I'd best keep that promise

Busy weekend, but I managed to wrap up one of those "weekend projects" I started 7 or 8 weekends ago. This is the excellent 1/72 @officialairfix Hunting Percival Jet Provost T.4 kit in Royal Air Force College 1962 paint scheme. The kit is fantastic, nothing to note other than it was a good time.

Unfortunately haven't had much modeling or proping time this week, even had to go in to work for a bit today, but when I returned I wanted to get back to last week's low effort/low risk project, this @officialairfix 1/72 Bf109E-4.

After getting all those Tricorders out of here, I wanted to crack into a low effort low risk item, and after being propagandized by watching someone's YouTube video build on a Bf109E model, I cracked into this @officialairfix 1/72 kit.

Cracked into all variety of projects today, one of them being the 1/48 @officialairfix P-40 from the previous post. Got the cockpit painted and together, although I should have gotten rid of of those ejector pin marks and

This one made me go into a "I have to do this absolutely 100% right now," so in our adventuring, we swung over to @colparsaurora and picked up the 1/48 @officialairfix P-40B.As far as I know, the scheme I want to do never existed on one of these, but I'm going to it anyway.

Finally wrapped up my 1/72 @officialairfix post war Hawker Tempest Mk V.

This was one where I was entrapped by the box art and I had to get it.

A great little kit, nothing too out of the ordinary, it's painted with @akinteractive.official Polished Aluminum and a few other metallic colors.

Not totally finished yet, but I think I like how this guy has turned out. It looks better in person than I can get a photo of for some reason, but I'll try to get better ones when it is complete. @officialairfix did a fantastic job with this 1/72 Hawker Tempest V!

Added some different panels with Tamiya LP-11 and some slightly darker ones with the same mixed with a little Alclad Magnesium on the @officialairfix Hawker Tempest V. I think I like it?

Trying out a no primer, polish the plastic, then AK Polished Metal Lacquer Metallizers paint on this @officialairfix Hawker Tempest V. I think it's a good start, not perfect, but I think I know better what to do on the next one. I'll let it cure, then mask off a few panels for a varied finish.

After, gotta give it some clear coats, add the rest of the parts, and hopefully finally the 1/72 @officialairfix Vickers Valiant will be done. Looks like I'll have a couple of areas to touch up too from all the flipping around. Most of the decals are all tiny tiny stencils.

What started as a quick weekend project turned into a quick couple of weekends project, but not too bad. I really enjoyed making this @officialairfix DeHavilland Vampire T.11 in RNZAF markings. I was very into it because of the Kiwi.

As usual, I didn't know what to bring that is in a portable state to work on, so I just grabbed some random stuff, one being the Excelsior build on which to use those new Wiley's Model Decals and the other an @officialairfix 1/72 Hawker Hurricane Mk.I.
July 12, 2025 at 5:12 AM
I wanted to try something like that, but also make it a bit different, so I slathered on a Yellow Wings paint scheme on to this @officialairfix 1/72 kit, using some decals from their Wildcat kit. It was a fun little build!

Finsihed up this @officialairfix 1/72 P-51D starter set version. It was a fun little kit that I picked up after seeing a live one land at the airport near work. It was a simple and enjoyable build but I think I still have a lot to learn about metallic finishes and especially weathering them.

Rolling the 1/72 @officialairfix P-40B off the assembly line!

It was a great little kit, no real trouble, although one of the gun barrels didn't make it right at the end. I ended up stretching some sprue to replace it.
