Is aotearoa the Native term for New Zealand or is it a locale?

I live in the land of the Ojibwa Anishnabhe. They were never conquered and extripated. They made treaties and still live here. The residential schools tried to erase their culture. Didn't succeed.

Actually cuttting back scope a little bit. Only one more mesh. Cause it makes sense for what I'm after and it's got a place in folklore.

In Ojibwa Warrior Dennis Banks talks about how an owl helped him evade all sorts of evil doers in Ojibwa Warrior. That first chapter is insane.

Plus it really also helps reinforce the idea everything went to hell immediately. You also get a visual clue that Dennis Banks talks about in "Ojibwa Warrior" this way. Not to mention it lets me keep things fair without adding too much of a UI. You're gonna wanna pay attention to the tutorial.

Thank you so much for posting this. Tiny vulnerable, but you’re a favorite account of mine and one of maybe three recent connections for solid news out of B.C. Thanks for always having great “takes” on infuriating things. I’m in Ojibwa country now, but will be in Salish soon.

Ashley's a bridesmaid. I'm free until the wedding actually starts. So I'm going to head down to Port Stanley to go see if any of the fishing boats are in and then I'm going to Port Burwell to go see Ojibwa.

Marie Bottineau Baldwin was an attorney and advocate for women voting. This plaque honors her. As some Republicans push rescinding the 19th Amendment or enacting "household voting," we must redouble efforts to protect the rights of women and individuals to vote. #elections #suffrage #vote #politics

Perhaps but my Creole-Ojibwa-Icelandic side prefers that I don’t discuss genealogy in public.

Did you read your own post?
We have more than one. And they're being replaced.
My g-father was commissioning crew of Ojibwa, ex was commissioning crew of Victoria. Several friends still crews on all four.
You check my UER, did ya? Know my service and career?
Sure thing, bud. 🙄

Mmh only the Superior lake name is not associated to the indigenous people, so it could be renamed to Kitchi-Gumme in the Ojibwa language from what I'm reading online. That would be a nice history lesson to our southern neighbor.
That's a good idea!
