I accidentally called "Braxton Hicks Contractions" "Hastur Bricks Contractions" and the mental image made me laugh so much I had to draw it

I watched some episodes of my old favorite show this weekend trying to feel better. Still feel crappy, but at least I got to visit some old friends 🥰

For day 3, let's post an old Zine piece! I'm still very fond of this art I did for Force Fatale! A combination of traditional and digital went into this piece. I would love to try this technique again.

I was super late sending out an Etsy order, and so I tried to sweeten the tardiness by including a watercolor painting of my customer's favs. First finished art of 2026, and first watercolor painting in... like 3 years.

watercolor painting of Fili and Kili as depicted by Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit" films. They're posed heads leaning near each other and their hands on each other's shoulders. They're rendered in watercolors with a loose black outline.

It's been a coon's age since I've drawn anything, so I wanted to see if I could draw me.

Some John and Arthur sketches from my sketchbook. Still not fully satisfied with my design for John, but I think I'm almost there!

My contribution to Malevolent Big Bang 2024! My first big bang, and my first finished Malevolent fanart 😅I was paired with the season 5 AU fic, "Are You Still Afraid of Nothing?"
fic, author, and the other two amazing artists who collabed with this fic in the comments!

Trying to decide what art to post here is going to be a challenge to start.
Lets start with a sad comic.
Comic panel of a child in bed looking out a window where 3 other children are playing soccer. Text reads, "I feel like a little child sick in bed while her friends are outside playing." Comic panel of a child sick in bed. The text reads, "Life goes on around you while you're laying there in bed. Alone, isolated, exhausted." Comic panel of same girl, now older, no longer in bed. The text reads, "But I am not a child and I am not sick. I'm just sad." Comic panel of same girl, now with her head in her hands. the text reads, "Trapped in slow motion while the world continues to play around me. Alone. Isolated. Exhausted."

A stained glass image of half-god, half human John kneeling at Oscar's feet, head resting in his lap, clawed hand over Oscar's. Oscar is a white man with chin length brown hair wearing a long black cassock, and a cross around his neck. He's sitting on an ornate brown pew. John has a halo of yellow, purple, and green. He's wearing shades of gold and brown. His skin is a deep gold, and his hair is dark brown/black. There is text in Latin in the arc over their heads. It reads: Ignocentia (Oscar's side) Confiteor(John's side) (forgiveness and confession in Latin) The arc also contains stylized white tulips, which symbolize forgiveness. The prevailing colors in the piece are yellow, green, red, blue, and some purple.

Got a sketchbook at the farmers market of "handmade/natural" feeling paper. Did a marker sketch to test it out. Love the texture (but you can't erase)
Drawing of an over the shoulder profile view of a blonde woman, catoony. Rendered in alcohol markers. The drawing is sketchy and loose. Her eyes are dark blue.
