And here's the sketch ref with more details of her rework!
#wolf #wolfoc #oc #originalcharacter #canine #oldoc #rework #redesign #sketch #refsheet #referencesheet

Sketch ref of a wolf character. On the left is a body sketch, only cutting off at the legs. The canine had dark bangs over her right eye as she faces left. On the right side, two headshots show how she looks from straight on and to the right.

Reference sheet text! It states:
Edge to Mercury (showing the name change from the older version), Female, Wolf. Sweet and goofy to those she's close with. Tempered and Dense. Thinks with her heart and gut rather than her head. A tomboy. Small but build and wide. * Mortal/Hellian, a half mortal and half demonic.

I've thought about redrawing this oc I've had for a while for spooky month.

She went by Witch Owl and she didn't have a name. However, a friend suggested that her name should be Hooberta.

She turned out so pretty. I wanna make more princesses but I don't know how I want to draw them. I'm already really loving my practice in drawing faces for NPCs but making a finished artwork feels even better

I really love how this turned out in the end. Princess Skylar (Name change possible) is the radiant beauty I pictured in my head. A princess with magically perfect hair, eyes that shine like gem stones, and the ever perfect wardrobe that makes her look like a painting of the sky. (Or at least thats how I think all that fall under her curse's spell see her. She's still very beautiful, but I wanted to play with her issues a bit. A blessing to be beloved turning into a curse to be treated like a beautiful creature and not a human being. Add the duties of being a perfect princess, and I think she'd be a compelling lead. Mix in the brilliant mage, she calls her best friend and the witch she will be trying to befriend after a small curse made her feel human for a day, and I think I could have some fun.

The more I think about all the things this concept feels like so far is the movie Charming, the book/movie Ella Enchanted, and a mix of some kids shows I can't remember the names of off the top of my head. All and all, I just wanna make some more art right now.

I know it looks pretty finished with the shading an all but it's gonna get better. I had so much fun drawing an #OldOC from holy cow 6 years ago. #Princess Skylar (May change her name to suit the story better was a fun character before and fun to draw now

I'm forcing myself to pay attention to an old story idea. A story about a princess in a fairytale world who can't seem to find someone she loves romantically despite being deeply desired by many. I haven't played with this idea in a while, but I loved the idea of writing a low-stakes romance. I never got very far, but this time I'm gonna try to force the issue. The first thing I usually while thinking about stories is I draw the characters. This is my first attempt at drawing my princess here since I'd say 2022. I feel like my art has really improved cause I can vaguely remember a drawing of her and her future wife. Yes, it's Sapphic and a little enemies to lovers. I'll get more into it in later drawings cause I was finish this and hopefully get some artwork made of her two co-leads who will be helping her come to terms with whatever her path is to have the happily ever after she's been told was her destiny as a princess.

An ancient drawing of mine with one of my oldest characters. His name is the Crimson Cape. He’s basically Doctor Strange’s living cloak but has eyes and can talk. I’ve been meaning to give him a redesign but soon I should have something for him.

Hmm.. not much to post at the moment in between other projects. Guess I could share this old 2016 commission of a much old OC named Talon (from like 2002, I think?), from a long abandoned story I left unfinished. He was drawn by @teiranova.com

#oldart #anthro #oldoc #art #commissionedart

A commissioned drawing from 2016 of a very, very old OC named Talon. A hybrid panther/iguana(?) character from the bygone era of 2002. He was drawn by TeiraNova. The backstory is a bit fuzzy, but I think I recall a little of the final version of the story. He was supposed to be a human soldier who ended up being experimented on in some bid to find a solution to fight some reawakened Egyptian god alongside some others on a team.. or something? Maybe I'll revisit the idea some day in the future.
