Made some excellent progress on EOTU: Battlegrounds.
Made adjustments to stats, board layout, turn order, placement of items/objects/ect. Got a recommendation for a change for board and tracking clarity. Going to sit down the next few days and implement.

Every level in EotU uses a set of "megatiles". So each screen is only 56 bytes (8x7). It makes scrolling and collision lookups quick to calculate. But because there is a unique set for every level it has a special compression format to unpack on level load. #homebrew #nesdev

One of the best decisions we made when making EotU was adding a screenshot mode - players make our game look all the prettier in screenshots on a daily basis!
Highly recommended to any indie devs reading.
