A portrait of my friend's cat, Mickey! She specifically wanted him in a walnut tree, similar to the one at her childhood home, and to get his eye freckles ♥

An elderly black cat lounges in a white walnut tree. His eyes are golden and have little dark flecks in them. A yellow light hits him from the left side, and a pale, bluish light hits him from the right. The sketch for the first picture. His face is a little slimmer, as the client asked for his face to be more round and chonky later in the process. A collage of images of the cat from the portrait at various angles. There is also a picture of a cat lounging in a tree and a few of walnut branches and leaves. A picture of the cat in the middle is captioned, "Old Stinky."
