European traders, file a GDPR opt out request. The GDPR allows you to object to how your personal information is processed based on Etsy's "legitimate interests," and it gives you the right to demand erasure. Include the EU AI Act in your objection letter also.

This is especially infuriating because the group have a history of abusing privacy laws to avoid accountability. Their co-runner TechSane filed a GDPR complaint to get a Google Doc calling out his misbehavior removed. But they are free to disregard the GDPR themselves, at least in their eyes.

Presumably this won't be happening the UK where GDPR would make life hellish for the data controller.
