Geologist Ed Teach’s expectations for his department’s in-house conference were rock bottom (pun very much intended). Oh, he was happy to do his part to support the nervous, bright-eyed students; be a little kinder than his supposed mentors were.

In hindsight, Stede Bonnet has absolutely zero idea what he was thinking. Who shows up alone to something like this? And of course everyone here is approximately five million years old.

Digital fanart for OFMD of Ed and Stede from Calling Your Name. Incubus Ed is having a go at having it all by letting Stede absolutely rail him in an alley behind a bar. Ed has his hair half-up and is wearing his leathers, pants around his thighs. Stede is behind him a fabulous suit that fades red to black and red shoes. They both look really into what they're doing.

Popping my head in to say I am v excited about Rhys on Strange New Worlds. My theory (and many others have the same) is that he's playing Trelane, and they might be canonizing Trelane as a proto-Q.

If you can't wait for StedeTrek, a reminded that I write a Star Trek AU.

So I'm currently writing an OFMD x Star Trek fic called In These Hollow Stars. I posted the penultimate chapter last night.

You don't have to be a Trek fan to read it! You just gotta enjoy space romance. But if you are, there's tons of easter eggs and deep cuts.

Bit of a timezone bump - this is the second chapter of three that make up Episode 1 (the third chapter will be published this coming Thursday... and there's ART in the third chapter!!)

We're still in the midst of day one of five studio filming days, on Episode 1.

The cast member's location outfits are revealed, as are the first two location tasks.

In the studio, Stede's feeling the heat and Ed's totally fine. No, really. He is.

Chapter 3
Summary:
Ed's body art is such a part of him that he completely forgets it's there. But Stede has only seen him in long sleeves, fully covered. He's clearly surprised, but it doesn't seem to be in a bad way. Ed sits down on the edge of the bed and smiles, pulling Stede in by the waist as he begins tracing Ed's many tattoos with the most delicate of touches. "Ed. You're too beautiful," he whispers.
Or: full steam ahead, as it were, for the train boys.
