BOXMEER – Oplettende buurtbewoners zal het wellicht niet ontgaan zijn: er wordt getuinierd in het openbaar groen aan de Frans Halsstraat in de Boxmeerse wijk Bakelgeert-Noord. Tegenover de scholen werken vrijwilligers aan de totstandkoming van een buurttuin die als ontmoetingsplek voor de wijk én Boxmeer moet gaan fungeren. Dit met de steun van de gemeente en onder de paraplu van Stichting Omgroei.
