Cell papers with 25 pages of multi-omic, multi-experiment, preclinical results with 17 figures that are accompanied by a two paragraph, n = small, poorly reported, clumsily analyzed "clincal trial" that happens to perfectly confirm the story from the pre-clinical results seem entirely too common.
