Jessica: Trump doesn't have the same issues that Joe Biden did. He doesn't have a supply chain problem. He doesn't have a global health pandemic. He's just setting our economy on fire and not in a good way. Like the dumpster fire way

Again, a lot of political economy, economics and IR research needs to start assessing possible scenarios for the global economy where current key producers of commodities or supply chain nodes might through war and state failure cease to be significant exporters for years on end
The Russian EXW grain index for class 3 wheat. The graph shows it dropping below the cost of produce at 9 000 rubles or around 107 USD per ton.

● Jaguar Land Rover adds £10bn annually to the UK economy

● Employs 11,000 people in the UK

● Creates thousands more jobs in supply chain reliant on it

● And Grandad Nigel wants them to go bust because he doesn't like the ads.

Why do YOU think he doesn't like them?
The great patriot doesn’t like the new Jaguar advert, so he hopes they go bust. What a horrid man.

Auto workers. Farmers. Supply chain workers.

Ontario’s economy depends on them, and Trump’s tariffs are an existential threat to Ontario jobs.

New Democrats will fight like hell to secure our economy and protect our jobs.

I am campaigning to put the US economy on the blockchain as well, it’s where we attach a wooden block to a chain and beat billionaires with it until they pay their taxes

Hello, Trump-inflation.

The supply chain is in immediate trouble and this will not be good for the economy.

Gosh, it was (b). So surprising that Trump's big plan to "liberate" the American economy and stop "subsidizing" foreign countries or whatever turned into a pointless supply chain disruption and a pointless inflationary tax on consumers.

<through tears> You'll get 'em next time, sir. 🫡
Still incredible to me how *anyone* reads this as anything other than (a) total baloney or (b) a prelude to Trump reversing his failed plan.

Just imagine the degree of ignorance and cognitive dissonance required to take it at face value.

The launch of the Blue Ghost module, scheduled to land on the moon early next month, is a key step in creating an Earth–moon supply chain.

Will the collapse of the global economy and the breakdown of the US supply chain kill us before RFK’s destruction of the public health system exacerbates a new pandemic?

Probably worth remembering that countries like Saudi Arabia are holding up our sham bullshit tech economy and that something like a war that puts pressure on them and disrupts their operations could set off a chain of dominoes that a lot of people aren't really discussing.

Human slavery also "supported livelihoods and the economy."

Perpetual exploitation is not the solution when plant agriculture creates more jobs per acre than beef.

'The Protein PACT' is just an ag industry front group lobbying to keep their violent and unnecessary industry alive.

💡Wanna know how to weaken your own economy, create supply chain chaos, and alienate allies in one move? Slap tariffs on your largest trade partners.

Not for nothing, but the war costs are ON TOP OF him already f@#$ing up the economy.
It's not like the economy was in great shape and *then* he decided to go to war.
"War further destabilizes economy already wracked by tariff supply chain issues."
Is that better? Is it fewer words even?
