As Vancouver folks prepare to vote: great to see this detailed climate plan from OneCity.

In particular, note these platform planks on getting gas out of buildings: 🧵...

Welcome to OneCity Vancouver @fabulavancouver.bsky.social!
Today in interesting local politics and local media news: @fabulavancouver.bsky.social seems to be making the leap to local politics and will join OneCity.

I phoned @fabulavancouver.bsky.social, and she officially declined comment until the “career transition” becomes public tomorrow.

Commute got you down? We can fix that. OneCity Candidate Iona Bonamis 陶思穎 outlines Project Greenlight, which could save you weeks of your life in traffic.

If you want City Hall to help you get you where you're going faster, volunteer, donate, and VOTE OneCity.

If you like this, Vancouver, you'll like OneCity! Advance polls are open today.
Big cities must do better to fix the housing crisis.

We have a severe shortage of homes, yet cities like Vancouver continue to block apartments across most residential areas, driving up the cost of market and non-market homes alike.

New from me in the Vancouver Sun vancouversun.com/opinion/op-e...
Opinion: B.C.’s big cities must do better to fix the housing crisis
Cities too often use their powers to restrict housing or make it too expensive to build while forcing new housing onto noisy main roads

William Azaroff has won the OneCity mayoral nomination.

He defeated Amanda Burrows by about 150 votes.
February 12, 2026 at 4:35 AM
I'll start saying OneCity has run an effective campaign if I see:

1) a poll with Azaroff at more than 5%
2) OneCity people not centring their argument they've run a good campaign by saying how many doors they've knocked on
3) people outside the OneCity bubble saying they've run a good campaign
Yep. Door knocking in areas with less traditional support, too. Gotta grow!

OneCity Vancouver is running a candidate!
If you want an affordable city, where everyone is safe and where everyone belongs, Ken Sim isn’t working for you.

We need leaders who are ready to stand up and fight back. That’s why I’m running with @onecityvan.bsky.social for City Council. www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGcI...

Fact check on Azaroff’s ultimatum video to COPE and Greens where he says he convinced thousands to join OneCity: he got 1,324 votes

That’s not close to “thousands”, even if you round up+pretend there were no OneCity members to begin with

Lots of enthusiasm in OneCity, but it risks being a bubble

Vancouver 2026 Election Watch: OneCity has formally announced they plan to run a mayoral candidate next year, and will hold a primary to choose their candidate.

I'm told their could be multiple candidates announcing in the next week.

Which means no sign of any OneCity-Green-COPE agreement.

I know I'm deeply biased but I genuinely think OneCity has the best candidates. Like every single one is excellent. I was impressed by some of the other parties' candidates, but no one has a full slate as strong as OneCity does.
