yeah in the right circumstances it is nice, and vibe coding out oneoffs is pretty solid. have fun maintaining that software though! my org is already having issues with that through lovable.
good tool, just overhyped.

I hope comics do eventually happen at somepoint I think doing oneoffs based on specific characters would be really fun.

Later this Fall, I'll be publishing an anthology of short stories and I'm having an internal debate on its structure. Should I run the stories chronologically or try to order them dramatically in some way? Thoughts?

I finally got around to organizing some of my "classic" stories from my days writing as absman420, creating the first of three anthologies I'll be putting out infrequently in the coming year. The 1st is ONE-OFFS, a collection of stand-alone stories.

Everyone in journalism pretends the UK follows the US model (the ideal, not the reality of course) of balanced journalism which the newspapers have never done or claimed to have done. Neve any exploration of the agendas or how their influence works, or oneoffs which are forgotten the next day

This is obviously not dalek related - but in fact is part of what I do for a living, making models. Thsi is a " #southwold " scene that is hand cranked with moving parts and lights for a Christmas present. #modelmaking #automaton #movingmodels #handmadegifts #oneoffs

I definitely think that if someone asked me what inspired my work I'd try and lean towards more, rather than less, specific examples, which means more genre derivatives and interesting oneoffs than big mainstream successes

The children year for weird experimental oneoffs like Gurumin, FALCOM. Don't deprive them from that by chruning out notthing but Trails, YS and remake shit.

Like the stuff about Meroron, Seeker of Darkness or Jogi and Kaito's yaoi backstory were great or even oneoffs about Nana's mom had potential, but everything feels kinda too wrapped up before the actual conflict has resolved and there aren't a lot of emotional hooks left
...watch me cry anyway

i love seaosnal units that are probs super forgettable oneoffs to the average feh fan but are Load Bearing to me the spriter due to how well they execute common design elements (the shirt/skirt for ilyana, the collar/jacket for clanne)

Surveys are showing this because we haven't had a major party counter messaging Republicans! People who don't know/understand trans people are only hearing republican talking points!
Politico is stuck in establishment dem thought here: not building a platform around values, but focus tested oneoffs

Politico just blasted this story en masse to all of its readers over email
Calling for Democrats to have a “come-to-Jesus” moment — their words, not a politician’s — and abandon the trans community

Video series beats oneoffs. Weekly behindthescenes vlogs, personalized Q&As, and exclusive polls keep fans coming back. Mix in occasional photo sets for variety, but the real retention driver is consistent,... #creatorsupport #womeninbusiness #monetization

1 off slice of life silliness, my mom really likes your comics and it's easier to send her little oneoffs for her to enjoy

Putting together a collection of my "classic" short stories, so in that place of sorting and ranking. Def have enough for two volumes, so weighing that, too. I have one more slot in vol 1 and three stories available (see choices in responses) Any strong feelings?

Love seeing old tech and oddities.
Like old oneoffs and bold choices that companies made, just because they could.
The Samsung Q1, Sony Vaio UX, Toshiba's Libretto W100. Just odd design choices because they could.

They used to be a decent place to get custom oneoffs at an affordable price. It wasnt jets quality by any stretch but you could get a huge several meter one-off toy for less than what you would pay for a tiny Jet Creations or ICF one.
