Not yet just video so far, when i do if it works on the MiSTer I just got I will probably use that if not then OpenEmu

Also openemu or whatever it is to put games on an sd card I would recommend setting up with all games once and never adjusting again. Something about the process kills sd cards for me, once I set it and stop adjusting the games on there I have had no issues

switched from openemu to mGBA because of the lua scripting access so i can have a stream overlay that automatically adjusts my team when i switch it up in game.

i was originally gonna go for a modern openemu layout but the way i want it to work is that it only shows you consoles if it has relevant roms added (like delta on ios) and having an empty sidebar on first launch is gross imho

OpenEmu is the superior multiple emulators in one app program and that is the best thing I got on my apple silicon m1 air besides steam on crossover. Never touched retroarch ever tbh because of how good OpenEmu and other mainstay good Emulators had been to me…

As a kid our family iMac had OpenEmu that I could setup by myself in middle school and it had every system from 2600 to the PlayStation 1. Imagine my surprise when I tried to setup RetroArch on my first PC in high schooland it was like crushing my dick in a car door.
RetroArch is a psyop, a false flag to convince people that emulators are difficult to use, unintuitive, and maintained by unfriendly people uninterested in making anything better.

Personally found my easiest emu experience with an app on Mac called OpenEmu. I haven’t used it in awhile so dunno what’s changed, but at the time, it was basically like an old school iTunes library but for ROMs, sorted into tabs for what system they’re on, and respective emulators built in.

openemu is great, highly recommend for mac users! i spent so many hours with it when i was younger - it has most consoles up to the early 3D era (N64, PS1, saturn, PSP, DS) and a solid UI
