It's hard to believe that Operation Octarine 2026 ended less than a month ago. We wish we could describe every event, lecture, ritual, and everything in between before setting Chapel Perilous aflame.

You'll just have to be there next year.

When Kennedy’s not working on his podcast, Chaos Magick News, he has been instrumental in making sure our message is getting out there!

Safety and accountability is extremely important to us behind O∴O∴—we feel that by requiring attendees to be at least 21, we can foster a mature, informed environment where we can allow ourselves to be vulnerable with our magic and each other.

#operationoctarine #chaosky #occultsky #witchsky
On a drippy, multicolor, opalescent background, black text on translucent white text boxes read: ‘Why is O∴O∴ a 21+ event?’ ‘We have decided to age restrict Operation Octarine for a few reasons including but not limited to: the likelihood of alcohol being on the grounds; rituals and presentations that may deal with mature themes and/or ritual nudity; and Midian’s history of being a sex-positive, clothing optional venue.’ There is a black geometric logo centered towards the bottom of the graphic.

Indiana's state motto is "Crossroads of America." It's basically self-identifying as a kind of purgatory.
In folklore, crossroads may represent a location "between the worlds" and, as such, a site where supernatural spirits can be contacted and paranormal events can take place. Symbolically, it can mean a locality where two realms touch and therefore represents liminality, a place literally "neither here nor there", "betwixt and between".
