the optimal strategy on redistricting is so blindingly obvious that I’m surprised more people haven’t discussed it: we move forward with a national gerrymandering ban in Congress and tell republicans that if they filibuster/veto it, we will gerrymander MD, WI, PA, AZ, CO, NJ, and NY
We can report that Dems are eager to continue the redistricting battles. This is a risky endeavor, as the strategy completely wrecked republicans. And there’s disagreement about doing it in some target states www.thebulwark.com/p/democrat-n...
Dems Aren’t Backing Off Their Own Redistricting Push
Even after their big wins, party officials eye new maps—both to expand their House advantage and to warn Republicans to back off.

The optimal course of action is to abolish ICE permanently, as they have caused severe harm, even killing people, violate human rights, and decrease overall societal well-being.

Similarly, this is why I was an optimal wingman back in college.

the optimal Dem strategy on gerrymandering seems pretty obvious to me: pass a federal gerrymandering ban in Congress, and then hand it to Trump saying “if you veto this, we will proceed with redistricting in Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Colorado, and Wisconsin”

the optimal positioning against neofascism is something like:

▪️moderate affect
▪️substantively progressive
▪️stay on the attack
▪️don't abandon minorities
▪️don't message against your own team/brand

except for the first, it's basically the exact opposite of what reactionry centrists recommend

3-4C is optimal for human extinction.
Led it be known what William Nordhaus did...

"William Nordhaus argued that a stronger level of climate warming (~3°C to 4°C) is economically "optimal" (or more cost-effective) than a moderate limit (like 1.5°C or 2°C)."

He got a Nobel price for his shit show on climate-economics
