I don't owe politeness to people who politely think Othered People should be killed.
T&S policies should focus on behaviors (e.g., treating others with respect), regardless of the direction of rudeness. Otherwise, policies could be weaponized to favor one group over another repeatedly. 3/7

Yeah. It’s how I view myself as trans. I am both othered by society today and yet I reach for a society in which I am not othered. I try to hope for the future but seek to build the future today, right now, in how I treat others and myself. I want to change society by changing how I see & am seen.
