This is a great concept, although we should be clear that although it's a "major district" - OUSD buses serve only a small proportion of students (special ed).
Do you know what would be really great for emissions? Better options than the car drop-off line, like buses, safe bike infrastructure, etc.

They send you home after they call the roll. Standard practice in OUSD schools is to push attendance and call you to come get them 15min later. Budgets are tied to attendance.

Until very recently, OUSD schools had high concentrations of lead in their water. Multiple water fountains at my kid’s elementary school were off limits. Maybe we should fix basic infrastructure before we worry about “AI”
