You are very welcome! I'm not an expert on men's tailoring but I know my fabrics. Some cottons & linens these days are very soft which is great for comfort but there's a trade off: softer often means shorter lifespan. Go soft for things that will be against your skin, rougher/heavier for outerlayers

I attempted to diagnose my colors for once, since i found a dark vibrant red in my wardrobe that i didn't enjoy on myself and just wanted to know if it was my aversion to vibrant colors on outerlayers or if i genuinely thought the color was bad on me.
Yeah all i got was that pastels suck.

I spent a year in outdoor retail before this grad student gig and there are BASELAYERS, MIDLAYERS, OUTERLAYERS, and SHELLS. FOR A REASON. I spent so much time trying to help people layer up to stay safe, healthy, and warm and I shall not see a startup bro in Mississippi* undo all my hard work!!
