My overstimulus machine is overstimulating me to ill effect.
They were still doing this <this> year, in fact, along with still claiming that we/other countries (laughably, 🇪🇺 countries like...🇩🇪?) did "overstimulus" without benchmarking either across borders or to the Lost Decade:
Also, I'm not sure why we're beating the straw man, in 2025, about Biden's fiscal policy & inflation. You can see exactly where it caused higher inflation & for how long, & everyone's admitted this. You can also see this was ~done by 2023 & cumulative 2020-24 inflation in 🇺🇸 & 🇪🇺 is ~identical.

Absent Biden's economic policies, we would have likely experienced almost the same inflation, lower job growth, and lower real wage growth especially for the bottom.
And like much of the developed world, American voters would have voted Biden out due to unavoidable part of high global inflation.

27. She's a one-round-and-out kind of guy with a rare few exceptions. Normally it's the overstimulus. Sometimes- SOMETIMES- she can be motivated enough to push past round one. Then, uh, the usual thirty minutes to an hour could turn into a couple.

Oh, if I spend thirty minutes in the Overstimulus Stress Nexus I can have food and shampoo and things I like? What devil's bargain is that! Yet I do it, and now have good food.
Weirdly I feel most anxious about the players
The locals needed special training sessions on the field to try & block out the massive visual overstimulus: they’re hoping it will be a home field advantage, as if they were training over a new kind of hellmouth

my two theories are:
1: it makes it hard to read so they don't have to write anything comprehensible in the movie that you don't need to see
2: people are so used to visual overstimulus that a transparent holo screen rapidly scrolling into is readable to them and not us ?????

Autistic brain needs to block out the noise of people a lot when I've travelling. I double up earbuds and ear defenders a lot. Then put some the loudest music I like, means a lot of The Prodigy and such #actuallyautistic #autisitc #eardefenders #overstimulus #coping #stress #survivaltool #asd

tho i will say splatoon doesn't understimulate me, i don't often get distracted unless there's strong external stimulus. so i can't help much with the thoughts wandering part. but for anyone with overstimulus issues, this is what i do and have done!
