I’ve heard good about Tusky as well and another one called pachli
(recovered from drafts, apparently the send failed due to bad connectivity and Pachli didn't tell me but at least the post wasn't lost)

@why.bsky.team any reason that the Bluesky application takes up a massive amount of space on my Android phone, even after clearing the cache?
Compared with Mastodon (Pachli) and Lemmy (Voyager) Bluesky is a beast, equivalent to Gmail in size.

Back to fedilab. Pachli has some nice improvements but the odd behavior of repeatedly re-registering its UnifiedPush intent handler causing several toasts to appear with every tab change and some other oddities drove me up the wall.

Trying out a fork of Tusky called Pachli.
It has numerous small things. But most importantly, custom emoji categories actually work in it and emoji are organized under them.
Also clear media description needed fields!

@pachli Lost in translation. My answer is marked "vastasi", which is the third person form meaning "he/she/it answered". Works fine with handles, but not so much here. Well, I'm the only one seeing this 😆
