Titus is now almost done. The torso isn’t glued yet as I still need to paint pouches and belt. And then I need to finish the head, helmet, banner and hammer.

Lieutenant Titus is done. Only needs a few coats of varnish. Such a cool addition to my collection and great fun to paint as well.

#JanuArty theme is Clothing. I painted this toga from a statue of just a torso in the Vatican. Poor lad had no head, no arms, no legs. Just a toga.

Got the base almost done today. Once the oil wash is dry I might add some more shading before the varnish. And then I’ll slowly build the rest of the statue up from the there.

The blue is on the big boy and the base with the Rubric Marine is done as well. Next step is painting all of the details on the marine and the banner.

Painstakingly painted all the little fleshy bits and got the stones on the base ready.
Now onto working on the crystals so that I can finish the base while the rest gets some oil washes.

Getting there! Bit more sanding and painting to go and this statue is in one piece again!
