Bonus #StereophotoStuesday! (aka actually on-time).

Did you know you can make stereoimagery from a 3D rendered videogame? Just take a pair of snapshots offset a bit.

Here's Lower and Upper La Noscea from #FFXIV

It's not #StereophotoStuesday yet but I keep forgetting it so I'm posting it early.

Sumac Grove, seen at Good Earth State Park in South Dakota.

#stereophoto #3d #parallelview
A whole bunch of bright red sumac, forming a crimson canopy at about eye-level. Green-leafed deciduous trees form a backdrop at the far end of the grove.

I've totally neglected #StereophotoSteusday the past month or so. To make up for it, here are a few flower photos:

#Stereoview #Stereophoto #ParallelView #flowers #bloomscrolling
Stereophoto of yellow flowers. The yellow almost looks a bit metallic, and the leaves are small, fat, and stubby, like succulents. Stereophoto of a pair of bright orange flowers. Each one appears to be made up of a rosette of individual flower-shaped petals in yellow, pink, and orange hues (maybe they actually ARE tiny flowers? idk) Photo is a bit blurry but the 3d effect still works! Stereophoto of bright magenta flowers on a dense mass of tiny leaves. Erupting from the top of this mass is another plant, with a cluster of pale pink star-shaped flowers.

I may be camping, but I didn't forget #StereophotoSteusday!

Here is an itty bitty little lupin I found while hiking today.

#stereophoto #3d #parallelview #flowersky
Stereo macro photo of a very small lupin with a striking stalk of purple flowers (if I had a dog named Sam he'd probably eat them).

#StereophotoSteusday! A 1400-year-old tree, growing in a lava bed, at Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve.

Stereophoto of an old, scraggly and twisty pine, now bereft of foliage, growing in an ancient lava flow.

Fuckit. I'mma post my stereophotos anyway because they're cool, dammit! I'll call it, um, Stereophoto... Steusday.... ...i'll workshop it!

This one is from Rocky Mountain National Park (I think at/near Moraine Park?)

#Stereophoto #3D #ParallelView #RMNP
Stereophoto looking down the length of a short wooden bridge with log railings. It leads to a snowy, rocky landscape with a few pine trees, and distant wooded hills in the background.

And NOBODY I know, even online, can see stereophotos, so that hobby of mine is also completely panned.

#stereophoto #3d #parallelview
Parallel view stereophoto of a scraggly, gnarled, shrubby tree, miss most (all?) of its foliage. It sits in the foreground on a large expanse of tephra. In the background, smoke rises from the Kilauea volcano crater.
