Late AM stroll, in the first 20m I looked straight into the light and saw a lump in front of a negligible patch of reeds, which I jokingly told myself resembled a bittern. Cue bins... :) #patchlist #153 @patchbirding.bsky.social

A great morning to be out, a proper winter's day. Collared Dove & Sparrowhawk added to the Lepe patchlist and good to see at least 2 Brambling remain with the Chaffinch flock, especially as there are so few about. #Hantsbirds #UKbirding

Better weather today and a couple of nice additions to the patchlist at LepeCP with a Spoonbill on Stansore Pool and a fly-by Black-throated Diver, taking the site year list to 70spp. #HantsBirds #UKbirding

Its the time for the annual patchlist wrap! Total species seen in my patch (10km from my home in Guildford) this year was....118. So two less than last year. Some clear highlights; Hen Harrier, Ring Ouzel, Cattle Egret, Hawfinch, White Stork... 1/2

I've been slowly adding more security features to homebrew, https://github.com/Homebrew/brew/pull/22459 adds patch details to the json api so brew vulns can use it to reduce false positives.

Adds a patches key to Formula#to_hash so that brew info --json and the formulae.brew.sh API expose which patches a formula applies. Currently patchlist isn't serialised at all and formulae load...

I've been slowly adding more security features to homebrew, https://github.com/Homebrew/brew/pull/22459 adds patch details to the json api so brew vulns can use it to reduce false positives.

On patch, I managed only 91 species on 52 checklists, however in a usual year I tend to submit between 70-100. Still, 3 new species got on the patchlist with 2 flyover Ring-necked parakeet on 18th Sept, and the flood in May enticed 2 Shelduck down on the 2nd and a Redshank on the 7th. #patchbirding

Patchlist for 2019 is trundling along nicely with the return of the Ravens. Sadly I forgot that the official open season for stringing flyover Tree Pipits is 15 Aug to 15 Sep, so that one will have to wait for next year.

A bit of effort put in today to get the 2020 patchlist safely into three figures before week 1 expires- Buff-tailed Bumblebee (I guess that is what it is...) proved easier to find than Greenfinch. Soz for the blurriness- the bee was sprinting to keep warm.
