Pretty strong closing argument ad from Roger Marshall blaming his collection agency for having his former OB/GYN patients arrested.

I was barely involved!

I was a lifelong liberal Democrat. Then Republican Roger Marshall gave a clearer explanation about why he’s been suing his patients.

gets confused is a funny way of saying "tries to commit insurance fraud and/or medically endanger patients"

Sundowning is for dementia patients

my “I definitely never had any OB-GYN patients thrown in jail for medical debt” ad has people asking a lot of questions already answered by my ad
we’re all obviously talking about Michigan but you have to see this closer from Roger Marshall that’s maybe the worst political ad I’ve ever seen

we need a mobile icu that transports patients to polling places

5. For those who aren’t aware, when Marshall was a practicing physician, he filed hundreds of lawsuits against patients. Some of those patients were arrested when they didn’t show up for court dates; others had their wages garnished.

Also just to be clear he personally didn't have anyone arrested but the collection agencies he sent his patients to did

Really just campaign malpractice, repeating the attack on you. Instead it should have been 60 seconds of patients talking about what a caring doctor he was.
To close his campaign, Roger Marshall is running a 60-second ad about a central theme of this campaign — how he treated patients.

“We had to keep the lights on, so we occasionally handed accounts over to collection agencies”, he explains.

Republican efforts to torment cancer patients hit a roadblock.

Sir! Sir! Could you talk more about how your patients were turned over to a collection agency?

Sir?
1. This is an insane ad by Kansas Senator Roger Marshall, and when I first saw it, I thought it reeked of involvement by the candidate or the candidate’s spouse.

Friend and I are having a spirited debate about whether Vivek's child rape ad or Roger Marshall's 'No, I didn't have my own patients put in jail' ad is the worst campaign ad in history.

John Ioannidis, who treated zero COVID patients, would then go on to blame doctors who worked on COVID units for the death of their patients.

This ad about how I never sent any of my patients to prison for medical debt is raising a lot of questions already answered by my ad about how I never had any patients arrested for medical debt.

Also: doctors using AI to send patients messages in the portal from their own name *without* indicating it’s an autogenerated AI message should take a flying leap into a cauldron.
I’ve now experienced AI fucking up TWO medical things for me in the past month.

1. Sent me the wrong summary of a bad blood test result via patient portal that scared the shit out of me

2. An AI agent (who I did not know was an AI agent) called me today to schedule a test my doctor did not order

Wonder if he tried to find his patients’ estranged parents to badmouth them on camera.

"An official review of adult gender clinics found that the “majority” of the patients using the services were between 18 and 25, many with autism or mental health problems."

Today, as usual, I hope Dr Beth Upton is having a peaceful day helping her patients without harassment or hate.

Also worth pointing out that studies have shown the disparity in patient outcomes is largest for female patients.

In other words, the greatest difference in outcome from negative to positive comes when female patients have a female doctor.

Gender-based inequities in medicine harm female patients.
