Just got home from Zach’s parent teacher conference. It went perfectly, as usual. He’s ahead of his peers in reading, and his teacher is starting a book club for him and some of his advanced reading peers. That makes me so so happy 💙 he’s doing so well.

This led to some blazing rows online and in real life. At the time, I wasn't aware that he was a sex offender, I was just concerned about his sexism. But even that led the most egregious misogynistic abuse from my peers. I was jealous, I just needed a good shag, I wasn't a real journalist (lol) etc

Yep. Ossoff generally is very comfortable working in this oratorical register, and his success in doing so while racking up a huge win in a purple southern state—while positioning himself for a potential presidential run—isn't lost on his peers.
I think “travels with Natalie” was a key moment in this election cycle for exactly this reason.
