Attempted to give Oreo a toilet paper roll to play with and he wound up wearing it like he had a peg-leg. Some days I can't with this cat.

Our cat keeps bringing us dead mice as gifts. Well, I assume they are gifts. I thank her, give her one of the treats she loves and then peg the dead mouse to the garden washing line by its tail. A crow or raven comes and takes it away before the end of the day. We are all a team.

Jacinta is more ideological than stupid, so I’d probably peg her at cat 2. Pauline: cat 4. You have to remember, we have some real stars to accommodate, like Robert’s and Babet.

After stroking him, I collect the hair that has come out.
I peg it on the clothes line for the birds to take for their nests.
I have been doing this all week. The first day, it was there until after 4, now it's gone by lunch.
