Slowly fumbling my way through editing some abr brushes in Kala Paint to see if it's possible for HJ to move over their commission work. Not perfect yet, but definitely usable imo!
A face drawn in a gritty digital pencil surrounded by a mess of test lines. Next to it is a sample line labeled original that shows a more wispy and artificial looking brushstroke.

I have a portfolio over at Cara (most of which isn't cat related.) - cara.app/drb2

Mass Effect & Dragon Age are responsible for some of my longest lasting friendships. 15 years ago I played ME for the first time & though I’ve had my lulls in creating fan art I will always be grateful for the stories & characters that BioWare gave us. Have some pieces from 2011-2026 in tribute.

Fancy having to make a plan to cast a vote. Walk 5 minutes, no queues, no gerrymandering (try independent commission instead you might like it), no machines, pencil to paper. Done. The US is very odd.

I think it'd be a good idea to also remind people that if they don't want to pick up a pencil but they also have basic morals where they don't use genAI slop, then they should commission artists

Sketch commission from ko-fi!
#pizzatower #fake_peppino #peppino_clone #commission
Pencil sketch of a Fake Peppino and Peppino clone OC. The smaller clone is clinging to the back of the larger, looking very uncomfortable at the water. The Fake Peppino is swimming joyfully along, seemingly unaware. The clone has stripes and antennae like a bee, along with a scorpion tail. Fake Peppino is frog-like in appearance, with vocal sacs on their cheeks, one frog eye, stripes on their limbs, and frog legs. They also have a big tail, like a salamander.

Artists, show your portraits! 🌊🪸🐠
digital art commission in black and white for basimdasas on VGen - bust of mer-folk / water aasimar man. He has dark skin, dreadlocks and shiny eyes. His ears are like fish fins and he has coral-shaped horns Digital art in black and white, mimicking some traditional textures of pencil/paint on paper - bust of the commissioner's OC (isopod15 on VGen). He's humanoid but inspired by deep sea creatures. He's a cute boy with white skin and big glowy eyes. His hair is wavy and shoulder-length, with thick bangs and hair framing his face. He has these "tendril"-looking things coming from his head, blending in with the hair, and star-shaped marks on his shoulder and torso. He's looking at us with a timid little smile, the background dark like a deep sea, and stars and glitter shimmering around him, like bioluminescence
