I had a Sun SPARCstation that had SCSI 20 MB drives that were something like $800 each. (equivalent to about $1600 today) .
My first drive was a Percom floppy that cost ~ $1,000 and could store 320 KB but only if you used a hole punch on the side of the floppy disk. Equivalent to $2600 today. 1983
