Läser att lavskrikans latinska namn, Perisoreus infaustus, ordagrant betyder "Olycksbringande pratmakare". Har några lavskrikor på jobbet.

Nobody warns you how wild the Canada Jay really is

Swipe to see its card.
Card 056. Common. 50 XP.

Canada jays produce a sticky saliva that they use to glue food to branches for caching, creating a hidden pantry.

As of 2017, this is Canada's national bird, the Canada Jay (Perisoreus canadensis), AKA the Wisakedjak (Indiginous), or Whisky Jack, or Gray Jay. It is a small, friendly, and intelligent songbird of the corvid family.
