A social post from @lifeboatacademy which says: At the beginning of the 20th century, a political choice was made: to favor industry to the detriment of agriculture. By underpaying for agricultural products, purchasing power was freed up for industrial goods. By devaluing agricultural labor, workers were available for factories. The rural exodus and the swelling of cities were in line with a centralized policy and an definite vision of "progress". — Perrine Hervé-Gruyer

— Perrine Hervé-Gruyer

A social post from @lifeboatacademy which says: “Gradually, we stopped believing that we are the ones who grow the plants. The potential of a plant is contained in the seed; the mission of the soil is to ensure its germination and growth. We are the modest assistants of these life forces.” ― Perrine Hervé-Gruyer

We realized that when we touch the earth, we connect to everything that makes up human life: food...health, landscapes, employment, the economy, the art of living together and even what we carry most intimately-our emotions, our presence in the world our relationship with life.
