This is a line sketch for a planned painting of the Egyptian pharaoh Hatshepsut on her throne. It's always nice to revisit one of my favorite pharaohs in Egyptian history. #ancient #egyptian #african #sketch #art

They used to seal up the guys who sucked off the Pharaohs (metaphorically speaking) with them nothing is stopping us from doing the same thing.
This is not about party politics. This is about a trillionaire who made it his life's mission to kill poor and brown people by taking away lifesaving aid, to make the world unsafe for trans folks, and to install fascist governments.

Olive branch my ass. Fuck him and his enablers. Now and forever.

Like dead pharaohs familiars, she’ll be buried with the pets

King Tut would belong to the sizeable constellation of Egyptian Pyramids that would function as one of the greatest locus points of a Connection Denomination, in which Dhampirs of that region could form special pacts with individual Egyptian Pharaohs and famous priests.

having been coddled at a sort of expense previously reserved for dying pharaohs, they obviously did nothing with it and felt nothing about it. If they were capable of doing or feeling things they wouldn't have needed all that coddling. Their game plan, naturally, is to pester funko pop about it

Voters handed him a historic beating on Tuesday. On Thursday his allies are green-lighting a 250-foot gilded arch to himself. He learned nothing, because in his head Tuesday never happened. Pharaohs do not do self-reflection.

Ancient Egyptians shaved off their eyebrows when their pet cat died to show grief. Cats were SO respected that hurting one was a serious crime. Found this wild fact in "Secrets of the Pharaohs" and my kids are obsessed! #BookSky #AncientHistory

Forgotten flint tools in museum boxes reveal how Egypt’s early farmers paved the way for the pharaohs
The flints reveal that villagers created local economies from their skills long before state enterprise began.

Haley Stevens go, El-Sayed’s not cool with Black folks! Meanwhile we perfectly cool with him, what’s up my African king descended from the pharaohs? Cool polices. Then she decide to get with the shucking & jiving prosperity gospel Black church leaders to show she allegedly down. @jentrification.com

A question for Egyptologists:

Why don't we know the location of Itjtawy?

Amenemhat I moved the capital there & pharaohs ran the country from there for like 200+ years across 2 dynasties, yet we don't know where it is?

Just very strange, at first glance.

Any moral human being with $1 trillion dollars wld use $999 billion to help humanity & find a way to squeak by with the mere $1 billion left over. Not even the Pharaohs were this morally obscene or indifferent to the plight of everyone around them.

Reminds me of how we can tell when Egyptian pharaohs were in trouble when their 'gloriously victorious' battles drew closer and closer to their capitol.
