for me it's the ubiquitous 'blending' that feels like early 2000's photoshop but for like every pixel, or like a cheapo app photofilter from the late 2010's. i think we're saying the same thing tho. i would say humans definitely *could*, but that we wouldn't waste our time 'overdoing' it.
