Honestly, I’m kinda impressed. Definitely tricky to get a good blend with how pigmented they are, but for base layers and bold highlights, they’re so good.

The other side to this is I now cannot not have mine painted because they feel raw without the protection polish gives them.
My natural nails underneath have also slowly but surely become stained from all the intense pigmented polish I use. It's a right of passage 😂

I think the problem is I have the translucent one. Maybe if it was pigmented it would be better as a wear alone. I didn’t think it worked well as a primer due to the texture. But it’s really smooth, I like that

Honestly, the one that works best on my Faber Castells is a cheap unbranded one I got from an employee appreciation gift package. It’s super sharp so there’s no crushing of the pigmented part of the pencil.

A white dragon sits up on a snowy tundra plain. Black rocks litter the ground, and grey clouds cover the skies, which are grey with blizzard clouds. Beneath the dragon's front claw is a human skull.
The dragon has folded pterodactyl-like wings with hairy claws for fingers.
