We are thrilled to #announce that thanks to the support of over 1,000 people, #PineTier is now protected and forms the largest privately protected area in Lutruwita / #Tasmania. We couldn't have done it without you – thank you for making this possible.

Give yourself twenty seconds to take a deep breath and relish in this peaceful Pine Tier giant on the Central Plateau of Tasmania.

TLC's Aimee Bliss recently hosted Threatened Plants Tasmania – a #volunteer group that undertakes surveys looking for & recording threatened plants across the TAS. Aimee was able to show them around #PineTier where 1 new species was found & new pop of other known #threatenedplants were recorded.

3 exciting finds at #PineTier! 3 of #Tasmania's marsupial carnivores, the #spottedtailedquoll, #easternquoll and the #Tasmaniandevil, have been photographed as part of our ongoing ecological monitoring.
Both quoll species are protected under the EPBC Act, with populations in the wild on the decline.

Right now, your gift to protect #PineTier will go twice as far, thanks to the Elsie Flood Foundation. That means double the impact for #Tasmania’s #threatenedspecies, ancient highland #ecosystems, and the deep connections people hold with this landscape. #Donate at tasland.org.au/donate #EOFY
