People are talking about the Poetics Pgm @ the University of Buffalo again today. It’s important to remember how much creative experimentation has emerged from Buffalo and other public universities…
In class on Tues we'll talk a bit abt the history of Tolstoy College, the anarchist college @ Buffalo. I planned to offer some context re: UB's progressivism in media studies, xprmental 🎞️ + poetics in the 60s + 70s. Learned (belatedly) that Buffalo just eliminated its whole legendary poetics pgm 😭
