The other exploding area of dark money in politics is the crypto lobby.

They have dumped insane sums in elections in both parties (Dem primaries + GOP general elections).

It’s pretty bad
It's called cryptocurrency, but new FDIC data shows that most Americans don't use it as currency—they mainly hold on to it for price gains, not for transfers or purchases.

Why is the US Govt continuing to interfere in the domestic politics and elections of our allies, and why is the Homeland Security Secretary on a lengthy world tour?

Voter ID?
How about Donor ID?
Nobody can spend a dime
influencing our politics,
be it elections or governing
unless they are
human beings &
American citizens.

There are not enough recall elections in American politics.
Sen. John Fetterman: "I've seen a picture. Assuming it's not AI, so far the reflecting pool looks good. If that's $13 million, really, that's small. We do need a ballroom."

China does not have elections but they do have politics and the politics are very much “PUMMEL THEM”

Clean Up Politics. Public funding of all elections and no foreign money. I’ll be the Donor calling for an end to Donors - similar to the millionaire calling for more tax…:)

Billionaire political spending was about $16 million in 2008. In 2026, it could reach $2–3 billion. Whatever your politics, that’s a staggering shift in who has the financial power to shape American elections.

Republicans are making sure the Medicaid cuts don’t happen until after the midterm elections. It’s cynical politics, and it will hurt their own voters the most.

Start every day with this reality:

EVERY HOUSE SEAT and 33 Senate seats are up for election in 2026. THAT must be the focus. Let’s get disciplined.

It’s very easy for people who follow politics super close to overestimate how engaged and informed the voters who actually decide elections are.

This is a thread for lovers of elections; French politics; & French geography.

Tomorrow are France's runoffs for MAYOR elections; every city choosing its mayor.

It's a window into multiparty politics, shifting coalitions, & hard math, & suspense.

I'll go thru the 10 biggest cities, 1 by 1.

Politics isn’t just politicians & elections. It’s our rights, our freedoms & how we treat one another.

Saying “I don’t do politics” doesn’t make you unaffected by it.

When people’s rights are on the line, silence is a choice too❤️‍🔥

I hope they do arrest James Comey for the photo of sea shells. It will vividly illustrate to Americans who ignore politics and political news until a couple months before elections how truly demented and autocratic these freaks are, because they are just getting started.
