There is a Reddit user who made went 🏺 to the Met and polycam 3D scanned various Greek amphorae. Now they are making one to scale completely out of gingerbread. This is truly delectable reconstructive archaeology. www.reddit.com/r/blender/s/... Greeks did love imported ζιγγίβερις from India!

Keep seeing ads for a model car that I admit is interesting but the one I want a model of is this one. ETV-1 is the parent of a future we could have had with smaller cars and less fossil fuel use.

Polycam on the iPhone is wild! I just scanned this floor plan in a few minutes. This is why I wanted a lidar in my pocket. If any android phone had this tech, I’d probably switch over but this is the killer feature.

For our #Satisfactory helmets, we purchased visors and then 3D modeled the helmet to fit around visors! To get the scale and shape correct, we used 3D scans (Polycam) of the visor, and my head, and made sure the imported scans were the same scale as the real world objects.
