Wow, we had a great experience walking up Earls Hill, Pontesbury, today. It was really foggy, but we took the chance that it would be clear.
What an amazing thing to see a fog covering the whole of #Shropshire and being stood above it.

It was once believed that an ancient, haunted yew sat at the top of Pontesbury Hill. Tradition dictated that the first person of the year to gather a branch or sprig would have no misfortune fall upon them, as long as they kept the token safe.
