River Dart at Dartmeet yesterday with the famous bridge, see if you can spot the snowdrops on the far bank, #Dartmoor, #Devon.
The bridge is listed as 17th century or earlier so it seems to be later than the Postbridge and Bellever ones.

Grey Wethers has two prehistoric stone circles, located on a grassy plateau north of Postbridge, Dartmoor. The circles are each about 33 m in diameter, and less than 5 metres apart. An excavation took place in 1898. Folklore tells how sheep turned to stones. #StandingStoneSunday

Since I really don't fancy going out in this weather, here's one from the summer. This is the 13th-century clapper bridge at Postbridge, in the middle of Dartmoor. It's made of three solid granite slabs, and is 42ft long. #photography #devon
