Melchizedek, King of Sodom, Robert R. Cargill, 2019. A quick and easy read, as far as biblical text criticism goes. Cargill does solid with his premise: Melchizedek of Genesis 14 was originally the king of Sodom, rather than Shalem, and Shalem became associated with Jerusalem only later, postexile
The main part of this book cover is a part of Ruben's painting 'The Meeting of Abraham and Melchizedek' painting, featuring armoured figures to the left, receiving head from joyous civilians.
