The undo tree is the most poweruser feature of all
This, to me, is the real appeal of Linux. There are so many flavors for so many kinds of people, some are It Just Works flavors, some are poweruser flavors, and some are so unhinged they're like delightful jokes at everyone else's expense. You don't get that with Windows or MacOS.
If I hadn't been steered towards CachyOS I probably would've picked Nyarch or UwUntu because they make me chuckle.

Ich sehe mich irgendwo als klassischer Mainstream-Nutzer von KI, weit weg von Experte oder Poweruser. Dafür kann ich auch viel zu schlecht coden. Mir fliegt aber regelmäßig der Hut weg, wenn ich sehe, wofür man diese vergleichsweise sauteure Technik benutzt. Sind wir wirklich so dumm geworden?

Besides, would they have even *bothered* to switch if you hadn't helped them? Would they have cared about the OS of their computer without a poweruser telling them "you should switch"? This is why I still push back on it. Linux is not compatible enough & is too technical for the MAJORITY of users.

I'm by no-means an excel poweruser - I maybe make a spreadsheet once a year, but even I'm surprised by the crushing lack of functionality in Apple Numbers, basics like locking an individual column (where a value is calculated automatically) can't be done.
