One aspect of being an economist is that the idea of revealed preference becomes so entrenched that you find it laughable when anybody pays more attention to words than deeds.
Nigel Farage has been determined "for years" (Chris Mason) to eliminate racists and obnoxious gits from his various parties.
He's succeeded a bit and failed a lot.

The men that love to throw rocks and hide their hand behind having a "preference" when they're called out are the same ones that would be ready to fight or kill a woman when they're not preferred either.
Having a preference is not a pass to being a douchebag towards people you're not attracted to.

The FBI subpoenaed Anosh Ahmed's company in June 2022. Every dollar of the $190,000 he gave Ken Paxton's campaign came after that. Not one before. Paxton's campaign doesn't have a vetting problem. It has a preference.
