#preferreds
Yes. They own about 45% of the company, and just plough half a yard into LCID convertible preferreds in April. #$UBER owns 10% as well.
Isn’t KSA sovereign wealth fund heavily invested in #$LCID ?

“We raised $25.3 billion in 2025”

Discussing perpetual preferreds.

my preferreds are "oh my Lord" and "good heavens"
lesbians will say the most grandma-ass exclamations like "oh gosh" and "goodness gracious me" and "oh my word" when they're the thirstiest anyone has ever been in human history

Christ, I don't have time to explain this right now, but what a gift to one of the dumbest trades in all of finance

Yep...but the Madam VP's birth name is James Donald Bowman...stop using her preferreds.

$MSTR common shareholders will get diluted to piss so the preferreds (which some insiders bought) are able to get their fat dividends.

Unbelievable

"...by issuing preferreds that pay a 12% dividend (in US$), investing the proceeds in #$BTC at $100k and then selling #$BTC at $60k to pay the dividends..."

There, I fixed it for you

Bitcoin is a totally unproductive asset— where does the capital to pay out preferreds ordinarily come from?

Nice to see my Boomer REITS and Preferreds get a nice bid as everyone keeps looking to safety and yield.

Diluting both the common and preferreds which will trade on the nasdaq 2/7

Only if you leverage it with convertible preferreds

Strategy market cap down 40% after pivot from bonds to preferreds
Strategy preferreds were supposed to fix the problems with bonds, such as principal repayment, but instead they brought a raft of new issues.

Michael Saylor’s Strategy just raised $4.2bn via preferred shares — with the fine print allowing it to pay dividends on earlier preferreds. Not a recap, not a refinance. A structure built on momentum and market access. My latest in @alphaville.ft.com (free-to-read): www.ft.com/content/90ea...

Make it up there is still time (unless your preferreds were eliminated)

It's the main reason Ackman is constantly touting Trumpy's economic insanity. He wants his fannie, freddie preferreds paid at par+ and get his bags lifted.

Scoring 10% perpetual preferreds along with boatloads of cheap warrants was a great playbook, but have you tried a short term flip on some mid-single-digit discounted common?
i'm going to lose my mind. #$BRK never does stuff like this unless they are guaranteed to get their pound of flesh

Agree. UAN can really pop. It's small and it gets the mo-mo traders or whatever they're called today.

Also, if you're a widow or orphan, CHS preferreds yield 7-7.5%. They own about 10% of CF plus petro refinery assets.

But don’t worry, Watt won’t starve. He cashed out £50mn in striking the deal.

Been moving to quality for awhile. Lots of decent deals in preferreds during this sell-off.

Lots of interesting opportunities in REITs especially in the preferreds. Falling interest environment and new funds being raised looking to buy beaten down valuations.
