These are some aspects as to why I can see some having a hard time clicking with the game compared to other titles. But aside from those flaws, I prerty much loved everything else about Super Metroid. And I believe that playing other games in the series beforehand really helped my experience.

I can see this, though I often see things like classic Negronis being offered which are functionally prerty similar drinks to a gin martini. Perhaps they are more popular because they feel less "cocktail-like" since they aren't served in a martini glass? More like buying a whisky.
