Laughing at a stupid, stupid ad here. Anybody who has dealt with #printerlogic will only get a bonus on top of "print server software vendor that claims they eliminate print servers, not supply them, claims it's gonna kill off printing" face value on this one.
A LinkedIn advertisement for PrinterLogic. The ad copy reads, "you eliminated print servers. Print (sic) is next." A monochromatic purple scene in Corporate Memphis has a humanoid figure beating a printer with a baseball bat behind the text. More confusingly, the advertisement captions this with "The hidden cost of print isn't paper or toner. It's the business intelligence that goes dark every time your people click File > Print" above, and "Intelligent print automation keeps document data from going dark." Never mind that should be "printing" and not "print". None of these taglines are in any way explained, nor are they in any kind of context. Having used PrinterLogic myself, I can't see the point in using it versus using the onboard IPP server on each individual printer plus sane DNS naming and static DHCP assignments, which is both obvious to users, basically free and straightforward to implement (assuming Fortinet isn't your network device vendor).
