Don’t have the heart to tell him that no, we don’t actually own this farm. I’m just going to let him think we do.

Trigger and Fanny in washable gear in preparation for whatever they find to roll in at the park today. What will it be? Rabbit poo? Deceased rodent? Lifeless frog? All THREE?!? Roll the wheel and let’s see!

Happy #MotivationMonday! Today we’re OUTSIDE for daycare (85° out there?) so backyard baths are set up in advance to wash off whatever the kids roll in today! 😅

Paisan curries favor with the local sheriff. When your pack is vibing with the color of the park’s poo pouches! 🤣 Paisan has always been “out standing” in his field. Sorry—too corny? 🤦🏼‍♀️

Snaps from #DairyRidgeDogPark today: Barn edition. Sarah got dibs on new Park #2. I’ll be out there Friday!

Fanny prefers to play a supporting role when the boys take over the podium. I think she just knows she’d outshine em both if they were shoulder to shoulder (theoretically speaking, in Pai’s case) Fanny starts the daily ritual of collecting all the best toys on or under the Coolaroo mat where she can keep an eye on all of them! Paisan was Switzerland today as Fanny and Mac settled an all-too-common dispute. Because he is the best boy, Mac always lets Fanny win in the end. 🥰

It’s #Friyay! It’s been a sticky but fun week at #DairyRidgeDogRun but today we’re letting someone else’s dogs enjoy the #privatedogpark. 🥰

Super warm day on tap so it’s also a #noclothes Friday!🤣

Fanny the white chihuahua and maltese rescue finds herself in the shadow of a towering lily in our own backyard. Paisan the iggy posing next to our purple coneflowers. Tan and white chihuahua mix rescues enjoy some cot time together on our back porch, in the company of their cat Zack, who is prowling in his catio. Gray and white iggy poses on porch with purple coneflowers just behind.

Just a few pics from several snapped yesterday at new Park #2 at Dairy Ridge Dog Run. 🥹💚🐶

Trigger, Fanny and Pai at the watering station we set up on the porch of brand new Park #2. I’m realizing I don’t travel without one of our rugs because it instantly makes every place like home. Despite the cool blue hues, it was very hot and humid. 🥵 Mac and Fanny in front of the tractor with Pai perking out from the shaded sude. Trigger is underneath it. Don’t worry. This tractor is absolutely stationary. I booked 2 hours but my kids Fanny and Trigger were flat out after just one hour! Can’t wait until fall and breathable temps! Stunning view from the porch at Park #2. Mac and Pai discuss their favorite park features as the lil ones rest on the porch.

Coach Mac is the cinnamon-colored pittie-coonhound mix front and center. Trigger, Fanny and Izzy on the podium (refusing to smile bc someone forgot treats) with a side of Tilly the Shih Tzu, who is an independent lady who does not stoop to cheap tricks—especially sans treats! We are warm and dry inside the lovingly refurbished dairy barn at Dairy Ridge Dog Run. Izzy on her favorite non-obstacle at the barn. The see-saw!! No treats required but always appreciated! White and tan poodle mix in one of Fanny’s spicier dresses sitting on a green canine teeter-totter. Head tilts from Fanny & Mac alongside a chortle from Izzy (left) as we paws alongside the ball pit at Dairy Ridge Dog Run. All dogs are free to raid our ridiculously substantial wardrobe (or NOT!) before heading out to the park. 😅

Another beautiful day at Dairy Ridge Dog Run in Verona today.

This white chihuahua mix holding a small pink ball has already earned one treat. Without prompting, she added delivering it on the wooden bench. That’s 3 treats! Bench-treat. Retrieve-treat. Retrieve ON bench, definitely treat. White chihuahua awaiting three treats shots a warning look back at Trigger, certain that she is that he’s just trying to piggyback on her new trick. She’s not paranoid. He’s definitely piggybacking. Another treat-worthy tactic is Voguing. That’s where a dog climbs on a thing to get treat then sits and poses so I’ll go in for a closeup. It worked. The clouds really showed up for us today at Dairy Ridge. Absolutely perfect petsitting weather. 75° and a solid northern breeze. Oops. That’s Mac photobombing some very skilled voguing by Trigger & Fanny on and near the big wooden tractor Dairy Ridge built for us. Trigger is definitely driving. He LOVES driving. First picture I saw of him he had his paws on the wheel of his favorite Mustang convertible. Top town, obvs
