I enjoyed The Lighthouse actually. Dense and layered with it's roots in gothic horror and taking story cues from the Greek myths of Sissiphus, Promethius, and Icarus, it's charged with homoeroticism and dark humour. There is some fantastic acting and wank and fart jokes.

So, it's a while since I last had one, but still vividly recall thinking how much they looked like the innocuous-looking alien we first see in Promethius, before it opens up and eats through a guy's space helmet.

I'm a Promethius fan, so I'm on board if Scott plans on going back to where he was originally supposed to go after that films ending. I'm less interested in him just doing more prequel stuff. So we'll see.
