I was using Resolve on Linux to do VO commentary on mine, and s2g it won't read any video that's not ProRes/DNxHR so I have to transcode my ~4GB run to a ~130GB monstrosity, then export a ~30GB file that gets transcoded *again* down to ~3GB for the YT upload. At least the VO is easy?

I could be miss-remembering, but I though the Windows version does have it. Because Windows has the license to use H.264 at the very least.
I don't know what codecs you are trying to use, but my ingest is AV1 & FLAC. Exporting I use ProRes 422 HQ & PCM, then I use ffmpeg to encode to AV1 & FLAC.

If the glitches land in the same spot every export it's the source, not Resolve - usually variable frame rate from a recorder or a phone. Conform to constant frame rate first. If they're random instead it's the hardware encoder: export DNxHR or ProRes, then compress that.

Unfortunately android has no ability for YUV 4:4:4 . Which has unfortunately made any android based streaming system a no go for me. iOS actually has pretty solid hwdec for yuv444 thanks to prores compat
